Have you ever stood so close to a moving train that you could feel the power and the wind as it passed at a very fast pace? To get this image I was pretty close to feel and hear the power go by.This was a nighttime shot and the changing crossing light reflected against the yellow railcar as it went past. The crossing signs are not adhered to by everyone, some think they can outrun the train and sleep through before it actually gets to that point. They are mostly no longer with us. The crossing signals are an important part of safety to the railroad and this print is surely a railroad collectible. Jan Gelders Photography all rights reserved.
