A surprise at sunrise at St. Simons Island,Georgia. A clear white moon appeared as the sunrise went behind the white clouds at the left. The moon was so round and clear it resembled a white ping pong ball.It only stayed visible for a short time. The sun remained behind the clouds until later in the morning. the moon and sun do appear at the same time during the day at certain times or moon phases.In taking this photo image I was totally surprised when the moon appeared in all its splendor. This image has not been manipulated or photo shopped. It is an original photo art abstract print by Jan Gelders.
