The egret was at the far end of the pond wading carefully to spot a fish in the water. His white reflection can be seen in the water and a water turtle on the right is looking on as the bird moves along the edge of the pond. It is almost dusk and the sun is going down. The quiet stillness of the pond makes an ideal time for the egret to hunt for his supper.I keep my distance at the other end of the pond to capture nature undisturbed. I focus on the reeds and their natural beauty as I make sure that the image is created with the bird as a slightly blurred affect in the background. ŠJan Gelders Photography
